How we handle personal data on this website — and what we deliberately don't do.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, does not profile visitors, and does not sell personal data. This policy explains the limited data we do process — chiefly when you contact us — and your rights over it.
This site is operated by E2 Consulting (Energy & Environment Management Consultants), an independent energy and power-sector advisory practice based in Islamabad, Pakistan. For the purposes of data-protection law, E2 Consulting is the data controller for personal data processed through this website.

If you use the contact form or email us, we process the details you provide — typically your name, email address, organisation, area of interest and the content of your message. We use this solely to respond to and manage your enquiry and any resulting professional relationship.
When your browser loads this site, our hosting and content-delivery providers process standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in ordinary server logs. This is used to deliver the site, maintain security and diagnose faults. We do not combine it with your identity or use it to track you.
This website sets no cookies — no strictly-necessary, functional, analytics or advertising cookies — and does not use browser local storage to track you. Because of this, no cookie-consent banner is required. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and request your consent first, with the ability to decline.
To deliver this site we rely on a small number of reputable service providers. Each may process limited technical data (such as your IP address) as part of providing its service:
We are reviewing options to self-host fonts and icons so that no visitor data is transmitted to third parties for those assets.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process your enquiry data on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering a possible engagement, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We process security and server-log data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website.
We retain enquiry correspondence only for as long as needed to respond and to keep a reasonable business record, after which it is deleted or archived. Technical logs are retained for short periods according to each provider's defaults.
Some of our providers are based outside your country, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, it is protected by the safeguards those providers maintain (such as standard contractual clauses).
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Residents of California and similar jurisdictions have rights to know what we hold, to request deletion, and to opt out of any "sale" of personal data — which we do not do. This website is intended for professional and institutional audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
